An introduction to Somatic Breathwork
Service Description
This is more than just breathwork or movement- It's a journey of awareness, energy, and balance. Breath in Motion integrates mind, body, and emotional awareness through a carefully guided experience that blends active breathwork, intentional movement, and deep stillness. Unlike traditional yoga classes that briefly cue breath, this practice places breath at the center, using it as a tool to expand awareness, regulate the nervous system and consciously move energy throughout the body. Inspired by qigong, tai chi, and somatic movement, we explore how breath can create flow- not just in motion, but in stillness as well What to expect: -A balanced experience: We wont be moving the whole class. Stillness is just as important as movement. -Active Breathwork paired with slow, intentional movement to awaken body awareness. -Periods of deep rest where you'll be guided into a relaxed, receptive state. -A soundbath finale to integrate and anchor your journey. Many of us have heard the cue in yoga: " Activate your ujjayi breath."But how often do we truly enter a parasympathetic state, allowing the breath to regulate and restore us? What if i told you that the profound benefits of holotropic breathing and deep breathwork techniques can be accessed both in movement and in stillness? This class is an invitation to explore the rythm of your breath, to feel energy move through you and around you, and to surrender to the wisdom of your body. Trust that you will be guided.
